Good Juju is a modern take on tokens of luck. Elephant hair jewelry stems from African mythological roots. They were believed to ward off harm, and bring luck to the wearer.

Elephant hair rings would become cherished safari souvenirs for adventurers in the Victorian Era; a single strand of elephant tail hair would be scavenged from the ground and commissioned into gold wrapped jewelry.
